What does Tribe teach about end times?

At Tribe, the teaching on end times is built on the conviction that these passages are not too confusing or too distant to engage with, and that avoiding them leaves believers without a framework when events around them begin to accelerate. Brian Hunter has returned to this territory repeatedly, drawing on the Old Testament prophets, the Gospels, and Revelation to build what he calls a coherent narrative arc, from the serpent's fury against Israel to the physical return of Jesus and the establishment of his reign in Jerusalem. The goal is never fear or speculation for its own sake. Brian says the point of understanding these things is to be the kind of person who has oil in their lamp for what is ahead, and that pressing into these passages, rather than away from them, is what replaces anxiety with clarity and even expectation.
A central thread across these messages is that Jesus's return will be physical, visible, and deeply connected to the nation of Israel. Brian has described a return that echoes the way God revealed himself at Sinai, moving in triumphal procession through the desert, with the land itself responding, before setting foot near Jerusalem. He has argued that the spring feasts of Leviticus have already been fulfilled through the death and resurrection of Jesus, while the fall feasts, Rosh Hashanah, Yom Kippur, and Sukkot, function as rehearsals for events still ahead, including the rapture, the physical return of Jesus, and the feast of the nations in Jerusalem. Joel Richardson, speaking at Tribe, traced the same story through Genesis, Judges, and Zechariah to show that the biblical writers understood historical victories as echoes pointing toward one final fulfillment, and that the same interpretive framework applies to what is unfolding with Israel right now.
The teaching has also pressed hard against passivity. Brian has pointed to the parable of the ten virgins as a call to be prepared rather than indifferent, and Joel Richardson asked the congregation directly: do you want to know what you would have done during World War Two? Joel Richardson says, "Do you wanna know what you would do during World War Two? What are you doing right now? That's it." Whether the subject is the pre-tribulation rapture, the role of Israel in the last days, or the mark of the church in the generation of Jesus's return, the consistent call at Tribe is engagement, not avoidance. Brian has said that in the generation of the Lord's return, the church will be marked by worship, and that the closer a person gets to the Holy Spirit, the more Revelation reads like a comfort rather than a threat.
